Fall-winter 2012-2013

Russian spirit Having turned to the theme of classical Russian woman’s beauty a year ago, Anna and Aleksey Borodulin don’t rush to look for radical new sources of inspiration. Considering that their collections have already become not only a set of the outfits united under stylistic paradigm, but a proper cultural excursion that centres around the image of the Princess Olga. Long gowns, prevailing in the collection, showed several appealing combinations - this is where Borodul are traditionally flawless, but for the fall-winter 2012-2013 season they certainly made a leap in quality. Magnificent white and golden perfectly suited darker shades, which were toned down by silk-screen, Byzantic ornaments and the net-like texture of the foulards, as well as straight cut lines which were advantageously diluted by round Russian faces emphasizing these foulards, not to mention the flawless cast of the models. |
